Wellspring is an independent, evidence-based wellness-education project for a Malaysian audience, focused on everyday energy, fatigue and healthy ageing. It is run by two Malaysia-based wellness consultants who explain the science in plain language and grade the evidence honestly. We educate on nutrients and mechanisms — not products — and we sell nothing on this site; the only next step we offer is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation when you want one.
- Two Malaysia-based wellness consultants, one shared frustration: people told they're fine when they don't feel fine.
- We educate, we don't sell. No brand, no products, no buy buttons anywhere on this site.
- Every claim is tied to a real, named source — and when the science is mixed, we say so.
- This is general wellness education, not medical advice. For anything personal, see a healthcare professional.
- When you're ready, a 1:1 chat is a relaxed conversation — never a hard sell. If something genuinely fits, we'll say so and be upfront we work with it; the choice is always yours.

Who is behind Wellspring?
Wellspring is run by two Malaysia-based wellness educators, Joyee and Ariestt — and backed by a wider team of doctors, pharmacists and nutritionists. The two of them spend their working days helping ordinary people untangle one question: why am I so tired? — while the wider team keeps the science honest behind the scenes. Between them they have spent years sitting across the table from people who feel foggy, flat or constantly drained — and who have usually already been told there's nothing wrong. We are not doctors, and we don't pretend to be; we work strictly in the nutrition-and-lifestyle lane, and we hand anything clinical back to your own healthcare professional.

That’s us, and we’d rather under-claim than over-dress it. We’re not doctors — but we don’t work alone. A wider team of doctors, pharmacists and nutritionists backs what you read here, checking each guide against the standards they hold before it goes up. We stay in the nutrition-and-lifestyle lane and hand anything clinical back to your own healthcare professional; and — like most people in this field — our separate work can involve nutrition products, which we keep entirely off this site. Where those lines sit is set out plainly on our disclosures page.
What we hold ourselves to is simple, and you can read it in full on our research and editorial process page: every figure is sourced, every source is real and live, and nothing on this site is written to sell you a product.
Why did we start Wellspring?
We started Wellspring because of a gap we kept seeing: people who are genuinely tired, and who are then quietly dismissed. The internet answers tiredness with listicles and supplement ads; a clinic visit often ends with "your bloods are normal." Both can miss the same thing — that everyday energy is a system, and a dip in it usually has a specific, findable cause. Wellspring exists to read that system honestly and explain it in plain language.
That gap is not small. Fatigue is one of the most common reasons people seek help, yet it is among the hardest symptoms to pin down. The UK's NHS describes feeling tired all the time as so common it has its own shorthand, "TATT" — a sign of how routinely it gets waved through. And the gap between feeling drained and being told you're fine is real: a normal lab result rules out a short list of problems, but it does not explain energy, sleep quality, stress load, or day-to-day eating patterns. People are left with a verdict but no answer.
So we built the answer we wished existed: calm, sourced, and free of any agenda to sell. If you want the full root-cause walk-through, start with our pillar guide, why am I always tired?
What does Wellspring do — and not do?
Wellspring educates; it does not sell. We explain how everyday energy works — the roles of iron, B12, vitamin D, magnesium, sleep, stress and how your cells make energy — and we tie each point to a named, citable source. What we deliberately do not do is advertise, recommend, or sell any brand or product on this site. There are no buy buttons, no affiliate links, and no "my favourite product" anywhere here.
| What we do | What we don't do |
|---|---|
| Explain nutrients and mechanisms in plain language | Name, rank or sell any brand or product |
| Cite a real, named source for every claim | Invent statistics, testimonials or credentials |
| Say plainly when the evidence is mixed or weak | Pick the headline that happens to sell best |
| Stay in the nutrition and lifestyle lane | Diagnose, treat or manage any condition |
| Offer a relaxed 1:1 chat when you want one | Push, pressure, or chase you for a sale |
We are open about our position, too. Like almost everyone in this field, the consultants behind Wellspring do work in the wellness industry — so we keep the education on this site strictly separate from any of that, and we set out exactly where the lines are on our disclosures page. If something here ever reads like a sales pitch, we've failed our own standard.
What happens if I reach out for a 1:1 chat?
A 1:1 chat with Wellspring is a relaxed conversation, not a sales call. You message a real person on Instagram, tell them roughly what's going on — tired, foggy, crashing after lunch — and they help you think through which part of the energy system might be yours and what's worth looking at first. You come away with a free Personal Energy Review — which of the five common drivers most likely fits you, and one sensible first step. There is no script, no pressure, and no obligation to do anything afterwards.
The reason a short chat is genuinely useful is the same reason the listicles fail: the honest answer to "why am I tired" depends on you — your sleep, your diet, your stress, your nutrient status, your stage of life. A five-minute conversation that asks the right questions about your situation will almost always get you further than a five-hour search through generic advice.
The honest answer to "why am I tired" is: it depends on you. That's the whole reason a real conversation beats a search box.
If your concern is medical — or if anything we discuss points that way — we'll say so and point you back to a healthcare professional. We don't diagnose, we don't manage conditions, and we don't replace your doctor. You can read more about what to expect, including how we handle your information, on our contact page.
Wellspring is general wellness education, not medical advice, and nothing here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Always speak to a qualified healthcare professional about your individual health, before changing your diet, supplements or routine.
Frequently asked questions
Who runs Wellspring?
Wellspring is run by Joyee Duar and Ariestt Tan, two Malaysia-based wellness educators who work day-to-day with people trying to understand their energy and fatigue — Joyee is usually the one who replies. We are not doctors and stay strictly in the nutrition and lifestyle lane. See our about and process pages for who we are and the standard we hold.
Do you sell supplements or any products?
No. Wellspring does not sell, advertise or recommend any brand or product on this site. There are no buy buttons, affiliate links or "favourite product" mentions anywhere here. We explain nutrients and mechanisms — the science — and nothing more. Where the consultants work in the wider wellness industry, we keep that separate and set it out on our disclosures page.
Is Wellspring medical advice?
No. Wellspring is general wellness education, not medical advice. Nothing on the site is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. For anything about your individual health — including before changing your diet, supplements or routine — please speak to a qualified healthcare professional.

Are you affiliated with any brand or company?
This site carries no brand affiliation and sells nothing. The consultants behind Wellspring do work in the wellness industry, as most people in this field do — so we keep the education here strictly independent of that and explain exactly where the lines are on our disclosures page. If anything reads like a pitch, we've fallen short of our own standard.
